Academic Policies

  1. ESL is a special program of Brent Subic that caters to students from Non-English Speaking Background (NESB).
  2. ESL offers intensive language courses in English development, and integrated language and academic skills in Science and Social Science/Studies.
  3. ESL functions independently from the Language Arts/English department as it follows certain curricula for every ESL level that meet the requirements of the language learners.
  4. ESL functions dependently in Science and Social Science or Social Studies classes as it follows the mainstream curricula; however, accommodations and modifications are made to meet the needs of the language learners.
