Western Association of Schools and Colleges
The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. The Accrediting Commission for Schools, WASC, extends its services to over 4,500 public, independent, church-related, and proprietary pre-K–12 and adult schools, works with 16 associations in joint accreditation processes, and collaborates with other educational organizations.
International Baccalaureate
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation, motivated by its mission, focused on the student.
IB’s four programmes for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.
East Asia Regional Council of Schools
The East Asia Regional Council of Schools is an organization of 142 member schools in East Asia.These schools have a total of more than 110,095 pre-K to 12th grade students. EARCOS also has 156 associate members—textbook and software publishers and distributors, universities, financial planners, architectural firms, insurance companies, youth organizations, etc—and 19 individual members.
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.
Department of Education
The Department of Education (DepEd) formulates, implements, and coordinates policies, plans, programs and projects in the areas of formal and non-formal basic education. It supervises all elementary and secondary education institutions, including alternative learning systems, both public and private; and provides for the establishment and maintenance of a complete, adequate, and integrated system of basic education relevant to the goals of national development.
Episcopal Church in the Philippines
The Episcopal Church in the Philippines was a Missionary district of the Episcopal Church of the United States from 1898, became a Missionary Diocese in 1965 and became an autonomous Province of the Anglican Communion in 1988.
