Spirit Week & Philippine Day 2025
Spirit Week is taking place from September 22 to 26. Philippine Day festivities will be held on Monday, September 29. It’s time to bring out your fun and trendy costumes! Here are this year’s themes:
Monday – House Rally
Show off your House colors loud and proud! Wear your House shirt or deck yourself out in your Azure or Gold color from head to toe—face paint, hats, and accessories welcome. The bolder, the better!
Tuesday – Career Day
Dream big and dress the part! Come as your future self—doctor, teacher, chef, pilot, artist, engineer, or even an entrepreneur. Props like stethoscopes, clipboards, or chef hats are encouraged (school-appropriate, of course).
Wednesday – Movie Character Day
Step into the shoes of your favorite movie character. Be a superhero, a Disney princess, or a comedy star. Outfits should be fun, creative, and easily recognizable—just make sure they’re still classroom-friendly! Props of any weapon ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Thursday – Sports & Workout Day
Show your sporty side! Wear your favorite team jersey, sports gear, or workout outfit. Basketball shorts, leggings, sweatbands, or team shirts—anything that shouts “active and energetic.”
Monday, September 29 – Philippine Day
Celebrate Filipino culture by wearing traditional attire like barong, camisa, or Filipiniana. You can also show your love for the Philippines with modern outfits in red, blue, yellow, and white—the colors of the PH flag.

MAP Test – Aug 29 to Sept 8
From August 29 to September 8, 2025, students in grades 3 to 10 will take standardized tests called Measures of Academic Progress (MAP). Each grade level will take one test a day, during one class period, on three school days. Each school year, students in grades 3 through 10 take the tests during both the first and second semester.
These are adaptive tests that adjust to the student’s learning level based on the answers the student provided to previous questions. As a student continues to respond to the test, the test automatically adjusts its difficulty level to meet the student where they are at.
MAP assessment results are used to help teachers understand what each student knows so that they can set goals to improve their academic growth throughout the school year. The results from these assessments help us know what students are ready to learn.
Brent will provide the MAP testing schedule to students and parents.
