ISAC 2024 Season 2
The Brent Razorbacks girls’ basketball team and boys’ football teams had the honor of hosting this year’s ISAC Season Two Tournament from January 25th to 27th, 2024 at Subic. The tournament brought together seven schools Southville International School, Cebu International School, Faith Academy (Davao), British School Manila, Brent Manila, and Brent Baguio. Both tournament titles were won by the British School with Brent Subic finishing 4th in boys football and 7th in girls basketball. The Brent Razorbacks displayed teamwork and relentless effort throughout the tournament. ISAC January 2024 provided a platform for all of the student-athletes to showcase their talents and opportunity to forge new friendships. All of the participating schools can take pride in their performances as well as lasting memories from the tournament.
Grade 10 Parent/Student Infor Session Part 2
You are invited to the second part of the Grade 10 IB Parent/Student Info Session on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 3:15PM – 4:15PM. The info session will be held in the Middle/Upper School Library.
In this session, some of our IB faculty will present the CORE components of the IB DP. It will also be in this session that we will present the different support systems that we offer our DP candidates. It is important that both students and parents attend the meeting together.

Christmas Break
Dear Brent School community,
Please note that the Christmas and New Year’s Break will run from December 18, 2023 to January 5, 2024. School Offices will be open on December 19 & 20 (7:30 am – 4:30 pm) and resume operations again on January 4 & 5, 2024 (7:30 am – 4:30 pm).
Semester 2 classes will begin on Monday, January 8, 2024, with students in grades 6-12 following a Day 1 class schedule. Report cards for semester one will be available via the BASIS parent portal on the afternoon of Thursday, January 11, 2024.
May your Christmas be filled with love and laughter and may the New Year bring you happiness and success.

A Christmas Carol
Congratulations to Lower School on the success of this year’s Christmas Production, “A Christmas Carol,” with its inspiring theme of giving back to the community to make the world a better place. The dedication and teamwork displayed by the Lower School students were truly commendable, as they embraced the importance of unity in both their voices and actions. It is heartwarming to see how the students recognized and respected the hard work put in by everyone involved, and how they wholeheartedly contributed their best to enhance the overall performance. Their understanding of the connection between the theme and their own efforts is remarkable. I would also like to extend a special acknowledgment to our Grade 5 students, who participated in their final Lower School Production. Your responsibility and maturity during rehearsals and the performances were impressive and added an extra layer of excellence to the performance. Once again, congratulations to all the performers and faculty members for a job well done!
