International Baccalaureate<\/h1><\/span>

Welcome to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme!<\/p>\n

Brent International School, Subic was authorised as an IB World School in July 2009. Since then, we have upheld and maintained high educational standards, equipping our graduates for careers and preparing them for success in this increasingly competitive world. The IB Diploma Programme is a two-year rigorous international curriculum, widely recognised by universities for how effectively it prepares students for the demands of higher education.<\/p>\n

Beyond academic excellence, the IB programme aims for holistic learner development, teaching students to become compassionate, open-minded, act with integrity, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them, just a few of the many attributes that are fostered and integrated into the curriculum.<\/p>\n

Full IBDP students will take six academic subjects under different groups (languages, social studies, sciences, mathematics). They also have the option to take an arts subject; otherwise, a second subject from one of the previous groups. On top of that, students will take the CORE components, which consist of Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS). Together, these experiences challenge students to reflect, be involved with their community, research independently, and remain balanced in their academic and personal growth.<\/p>\n

Our IB Diploma Programme in Brent Subic is composed of an excellent pool of faculty who are driven by commitment and passion, with students\u2019 best interests as a priority. Their international experience allows for the strong and effective implementation of the programme, best preparing students to succeed not just on IB assessments, but also equipping them with the skills and mindset needed beyond school.<\/p>\n
