Brent Subic Overview

The Subic Bay campus of the Brent International School System is a private, co-educational school that prepares primary and secondary students for universities around the world. Associated with the Episcopal Church of the Philippines, and part of the respected Brent educational tradition, students are taught to be intellectually curious and receptive to new ideas. Brent Subic students develop self-awareness, a sense of direction, and a commitment to the needs of society. The school encourages cultural diversity and an ecumenical perspective. The School's graduates are critical and complex thinkers with a firm grasp of academic fundamentals and an understanding of how these skills relate to modern technology. The curriculum focuses on mathematics, science, social studies, english and foreign language instruction. This is complimented by courses in religious studies, the arts and English as a Second Language (ESL). Computer science is integrated into all areas of instruction and begins in kindergarten. Extracurricular activities that develop self-reliance and self-confidence are encouraged.

Quality - Brent offers the highest standard of international education.  The school is fully accredited by the U.S.-based Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and offers a full college preparatory curriculum, with college-level Advanced Placement (AP) courses for high school students.  Factuly members come from the Philippines, U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.  Brent Subic graduated arte now studying at the U.S. Airforce Academy, Colgate, the National University of Singapore, and other internationally prominent colleges and universities.

Affordability - International education is expensive.  Brent Subic, however, strives to maintain costs at an assessable level, and offers one of the lowest tuition of any accredited international school in the country.

Security - The Brent Subic campus is located within the Binictican housing area, a secure zone within the safe perimeter of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.  Because of the exceptional level of security, houses are not walled and the children move freely on the streets, creating an open neighborhood feel, allowing children to interact with their friends in a natural environment free from security concerns.
