Principal’s Message
Exciting times are here - there is so much happening at Brent Subic these days. I wanted to take a moment to give you an update, invite you to participate and support the students in their endeavors.
Book Week has been a huge hit. The annual parade of book character costumes at 8 am on Thursday, October 30 will cap it all off. Bring your camera! Students are being read to and are reading to each other across grade levels. Children had the opportunity to purchase a new book at the Book Fair. Please support our efforts to furnish a local school’s library by donating used books.
The first athletic season is over. The Men’s Volleyball team won the ISAC championship! Congratulations to Coach Tolentino and his team. The Women’s Volleyball team took 5th place in the ISAC tournament and competed for the first time at the Asia Pacific Activities Conference Tournament, congratulations to the girls and coaches Borgerding and Weatherhead. Our Cross Country team’s season has ended; many thanks to Coaches Krajczar, Wold and Oviatt for their efforts. Two runners from Subic are representing Brent Schools in Guam! The swim team continues to prepare for their Singapore meet on November 28-29. Coach Rachel, Ning and Wyncoll are excited about the team’s progress.
The lower school production team is well under way practicing their parts and learning their lines. Mrs. Cassidy, the director, is excited for the students as they begin the process of putting on a major production.
